PIHA was
created specifically for paranormal investigations of historic sites and museums
that have a history of paranormal activity.
PIHA is
made up of a small group of experienced, dedicated paranormal investigators who
have a passion for history and an interest in the phenomena of possible
existence of paranormal activity. Our approach, equipment and procedures for
paranormal investigating is primarily based on the use of technologically
advanced electronic equipment and scientific logic in obtaining evidence of
possible paranormal activity.
Our Clients
We have
found that networking with local community leaders, historical societies, museums and registered
historical sites, encourage the public to visit these locations and learn more
about our great American History and possibly see a ghost along the way. We also
encourage 2 or 3 of our clients to actually join our team of investigators and
to actually participate in our paranormal investigation.
The Media
Whenever
possible we encourage the media to publish stories and articles featuring our
investigations and the museums and historical sites that we investigate. This process
allows these communities and historic sites additional public
exposure which in
turn increases public interest in visiting these locations. Along with increased
visitations comes an additional donation, both public and private, which helps
to financially support these historically important sites and the dedicated
people who run them.
The Objective
The
objective of PIHA is to create additional public interest in our nations
fascinating history by means of obtaining evidence of possible paranormal activity. Once PIHA has
conducted its investigation, we then evaluate any empirical data that we were
able to obtain and publish our findings.
Discernment and scrutiny must always be
implemented whenever examining any evidence obtained that suggest the presence
of possible paranormal activity. PIHA is not out to prove or disprove
the existence of possible paranormal activity, but to obtain and publish any
significant evidence collected at an investigation and let each individual
decided for himself what to believe or not to believe.
The Survey
While the validity of the existence of paranormal phenomena is controversial and
debated passionately by both proponents
and by skeptics, surveys are useful in determining the beliefs of people in
regards to paranormal phenomena. One such
survey of the beliefs of the general
United States population regarding paranormal topics was conducted by the Gallup
Organization in 2005. This survey polled about one thousand people, and found
that nearly 75 percent of them believed in some form of paranormal phenomena and
27 percent did not believe in any.
The
Impossible and Possible
Open
minded people believe the impossible can be proven and become possible
Closed minded skeptics believe that the impossible can never be proven or become
possible.
